The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to outline how Rootwork Healing, LLC collects, uses, and protects the personal information of customers, clients, and group participants in the course of providing business services.

How your personal information is collected

You will be asked to submit personal information in order to fulfill your requested business service. The following information may be required, including:

  • Name

  • Email Address

  • Phone Number - for LGBTQIA+ coaching clients and QueerKin Circle participants (includes emergency contacts)

  • Payment Information - required for billing and payment processing

  • Contact information for others - for tarot reading gifts

This information is stored using HIPAA-compliant and PCI-secure platforms everywhere possible and we make every effort to maintain the security of your information. With that said, being online and using third-party business tools always has inherent risk. Please only provide information you are comfortable sharing. Rootwork Healing, LLC will not be held liable in the event of disclosure of personal information due to the negligent or predatory practices of third-party tool providers. You can and should refer to the Privacy Policy for each company on their individual websites and hold them accountable, where appropriate.

We will never knowingly sell or misuse your personal information

Rootwork Healing, LLC does NOT sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third-party companies for personal gain. We believe selling personal information is unethical and dishonest and we will never knowingly engage in this practice. As stated in the Personal Information section above, we cannot control the use of your personal information in regards to third-party tools and services that may be used to facilitate business services, but we will do our part to protect you.

Additionally, we will never contact you for marketing purposes without your explicit, informed consent. You have the right to opt out of any marketing emails for our events by clicking the “unsubscribe” option on emails (where applicable) or by contacting us directly.

For QueerKin Circle events, your contact information will be shared with other members of the group to set up listening session swaps and facilitate group activities. While we have a strict set of Community Guidelines in place to provide privacy guardrails to peers within the group, we cannot guarantee complete privacy with regard to the information you share for our QueerKin Circle services and support groups.
